I’ve been using a 50mm chrome xpole for the past year. I go to a studio to practice occassionally and they have 45mm poles from PS. I find that on the poles at the studio I’m able to do more advanced inversions easily because my hands and small and I can actually grip around the entire pole so I was thinking about selling my current pole for a 45mm instead. I also find with the chrome that when I’m doing inverted moves where my dominant hand has to hold me such as the aysha, caterpiller, etc that my hand doesn’t stay in place, its keeps sliding down the pole where it doesn’t do this at the studio.

Perhaps I should buy a 45mm titanium xpole instead.

Looking for suggestions or feedback on this type of pole.

I did the same thing and love my 45 mm titanium gold. No more slipping and I can actually hold on. Not only that I can do the Gemini & Scorpio consistently now that I can get my legs to fit around the pole & not slip. Just my 2cents!

So I was doing some more research I have read that the titanium poles get slippery quickly if you don’t constantly wipe them down. Is this true.

I haven’t had that problem with my pole. I’ve got a long day of practice ahead of me so that should be enough research to give you answer! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif Will post my findings later tonight! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_lol.gif I sound like a scientist on the Sci-Fi channel!!!

I have a 50mm TG and I don’t wipe it down nearly as much as I need to wipe down my chrome. I am thinking about getting a 45mm pole too. Let me know how yours works out!

OK..here’s the verdict after 2 hours of pole practice tonight: not nearly as much wiping down the pole as I did with the chrome.

To be quite honest I may have wiped it down about 6 times because my hands got sweaty do to the intense workout.

I’m quite pleased with the titanium gold 45 mm. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cheers.gif Hope this helps you out Jenn!

Well i decided to go ahead and purchase a 45mm titanium pole from Veena. Looking forward to trying it out to see how much different it is than my 50mm chrome pole. Hopefully I get a better grip and make more progress at home instead of only when I’m in the studio.

If anyone is interested in a 50mm chrome x pole I’m selling it for 250 plus shipping US.
