Re-teaching myself from scratch
Up until this May, I was very into pole, taking classes at my local studio and practicing on my own at home. My studio doesn’t offer classes over the summer, plus I started teaching yoga and was very busy with that, so I completely fell out of practice and haven’t done a thing since May! I also realized that the way my pole studio taught was… wrong. We never learned both sides and learned tricks/spins in a strange order. I want to go back and teach myself the RIGHT way to avoid injury and improve strength on BOTH sides. Has anyone had to re-teach themselves from scratch, if so what would you recommend? My plan right now is to go through all the Veena lessons, from the beginning, on both sides. I LOVE pole and I really want to get back into it in a way that will help me fall in love with dancing again and avoid injury! Any tips are recommended!
