Anyone care to share your experience with Rolfing? Did your body respond well to it? If so, after how many sessions would you say you started to see/feel a difference? Do you still do it on a regular basis?. I’m kinda getting into this approach and curious of others take on it 🙂

I believe that either Karol or Alethea have done rolfing and I know that Aerial Amy has also (here is her blog on it http://aerialamy.com/blog/2012/01/13/rolfing/).  I did one session and while I would love to do more, the guy only travels into NE Ohio sporadically and it was really hard to align our schedules.  I do know that the further into the 10 session they become rather painful.  Sessions are not cheap either.  You are looking at investing $1000-2000 over the course of treatment; depending on your location.  I think my session was $110, I think Amy's was over $150.

As a side note, I know a few body builders that believe in this.  That is how I originally found out about it.

I know of a pro golfer who attributed her weight loss to it. She did say it was very painful, on the borderline of torture, but worth it. I know me and my sensitive nature, I tell the masseuse to go light, so I don't think I would ever do rolfing, but I have heard its praises sung.
