Round the world shoulder mount
Posted by mizzli on June 12, 2013 at 5:49 amI came across this video and find this move totally amazing! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L4gCbzBaVc8
I'm thinking of strength training or exercises to work towards building strength for this.
Does anyone know any relevant training exercises or techniques to achieve this move?

Hi, I started prepping for that move with these moves @ 2:45 or so! Good luck! It's a cool move. Shouldermounting and staying in a tuck will also help build up your core. But don't go all the way up and mount on the pole, just stay tucked in the air for as long as you can, then slowly come back down.

also try going into a pike on both sides of your shouldermount

If you have a pull up bar, you can practice pulling the legs up and around in the circle while just hanging from the pull up bar or, for more of a challenge, do the circle while performing a pull up. That definitely helps my core strength! (Cuz pokeyd made me do it… lol)

Hi ladies, thanks for your training tips!
One thing i have started is holding the tuck position in shouldermount (I was trying to prep for the shouldermount plank thing then gave up), i didnt find that too hard to do. Then I worked on the tick tock move which is piking the legs on one side then move to the other side and that was a challenge!!
Once Ive lowered my legs, thats it I cant pull them back up *sigh*
I will def check out your vid organic angel when i get to a laptop, Youtube is saying it isnt available on mobile device 🙁
I dont have a bar fitted but wondering if its possible to do the same thing using the pole? I havent got gym membership too.
