So okay I guess I could put this in the "blog" section but honestly I liked it better when everyone posted everything in the forum! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif Not much of a blogger…anywho Since January I kinda fell off of my pole wagon…many reasons as to why 1. I really do believe that I suffer from seasonal depression or something bc I didn’t really have motivation to do much of anything. 2. My hubs and I had it out when it came to my and my pole. Long story! And, 3. I started P90X to be a suppliment to my poling but it eventually overtook it…I could not pole on arms/shoulders/chest/back day because doing both would completely tire me out and I couldn’t pole the next day bc i didn’t want to over train….so p90x became my focus and pole kinda went to the way side. hmmmm dosen’t make sense since I was going to opening a pole studio in June. Well in the mix there is now the huge possibility that I can do my dream job (besides a pole studio)…staying at home with my kids and *cough* homeschool*cough* them https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_eek.gif which is something that I have wanted to do for a long time…but I’m not so sure both "dream jobs" can happen simultaneously….ANYWAYS…until yesterday I hadn’t touched my pole in almost two weeks and it had probably been two weeks prior to that too…I realized that I’ve been unhappy because I was leaving out a piece of me that made me happy…poling! So last night I decided to move my pole out of the office (which dosen’t eminate pole-mood) to the living room where the ambiance is more warm and comforting, and there is a ton more room. Danced for about an hour and for the first time in a long time it felt great and free. Previously my practices felt contrived and ruled by my camera, but not last night! I can’t wait to get on again tonight! So I believe that I am back on the horse….back to working on my website, back to making that Roxy-spin tutorial and back to getting caught up on the forums!! I’ve missed you guys!! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cheers.gif https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cheers.gif

Hey Roxy, glad you’re back on the pole! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cheers.gif https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cheers.gif I’m sure alot of us on the forum will agree that poling makes us happy even when other family members don’t get it. You’re a great pole dancer and certainly inspring to me! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif You are certainly lucky to be able to do something you love.

Seeing you happy and rediscovering your passion means a lot to me because I know what you’ve been going through and I know how that can affect your mood and the motivation to do anything. Your dancing is insanely inspiring to me and always has been and I’m beyond excited to know you’re back in the habit. You even motivate me to get back on the horse. My poles been severely neglected as I work on getting the House off the ground and if you can kick the evil anti-pole monster to the curb than I can too!

    Luv you girl!

Awww yay, glad you are back and have moved your pole back to the living room where you can look at it and think about it. I had a hard time using my pole in my pole room because it wasn’t right there in my face…I keep my xpole up in my master bedroom now which looks right into the living room so I always see it and have to think about it. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif I find that to be motivating. I also know what you mean about the winter months….you just want to hibernate. I also find that during my birthday month (March) I have no desire to pole and I pretty much become a stranger around here. LOL. Trying to break that habit. Good luck getting back into the groove Roxy! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_flower.gif

Thanks for sharing your ‘stuff’ with us, sometimes it’s hard to put it in writing. So glad to hear you are doing better! It’s OK to take a break now and then!! Besides you were still exercising, just in a different format! I get a kick out of you coming back to your pole after a long break and having a great session, it’s sounds kind of like make-up sex. Hehe. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_wink.gif
