So, I just found out my TG pole I got in April is rusting due to the humidity and it being in a uncontrolled temperature environment. Has anyone else had this happen? I am going to take it down and bring it in the house when I am not poling, but I dont know what to to to make it smooth again. Any suggestions?

No suggestions. I put my TG pieces in my storage closet on my balcony and yes rusting.

I got some very mild rust on a chrome xpole. Where is it? Mine was a small amount on the surface in an area of heavy use. With some cleaning and regular use I guess it must've worn off.

I’m having the same problem with my TG pole too as of last week. I got mine in February this year. I live in SC where it is 100% humidity practically every day lol. I also have a chrome pole which I have had about 2 years now with no problems. They are both in my garage that is temperature controlled stays about 75-77 degrees. I’m thinking about calling xpole this week. 🙁

I contacted x-pole. They told me to send a picture. I knew in the instruction booklet it said not to store in an outside environment, but I thought with insulated wall, ceiling. and floors, it would be okay. I live in North Carolina at lately with all the rain it has been real humid. Emailed xpole the pics and asked where to go from here. See if anyway I can smooth it out(although must say, the extra grip has been fabulous!). Will keep you posted with their response. May just have to put my Stainless Steel up for summer months!
