    I have had several years of competitive (Irish) dance training (I don’t do it anymore), but the one thing I have NEVER been able to do is get the splits. I think I am less flexible than I used to be since I haven’t danced in several years and am new to pole dancing, so this resolution is especially challenging for me. I have always wanted to be more flexible but now that I pole I have some new motivation!

    Does anybody have any great stretching tips??

    There is a thread on here about splits. Many have had luck with Splits in 6 weeks. Google it or look up the splits progress thread.

    If you were fairly flexible before, You gain regain your flexibility fairly easily with consistant stretching. Try to find a small window once a day for some basic stretches. I was fairly flexible a few years ago, I could do center splits before, but never regular splits. I startes stretching about two months ago and Now I have my front splits on both sides when I warm my body up 🙂 We do a bendy buddies thing on thursday nights in the chat room if you ever want to join. It's 8pm east coast time…I live in Az s it's 6pm my time 🙂
