SV Pole Star Of the Month/Year?
Sorry about the empty post a few minutes ago….my 4 year old was climbing all over me:-)
So I had a thought. Wouldn't it be cool if SV had a Pole Star of the Month or Year? We spend a lot of time admiring the pros but from what I see, we have some right here. Maybe one person can featured on the Home/Front page for their accomplishments in their pole journey. Or one member can be chosen and acknowledged for their positive, active contribution to the SV community. I don't want to make more work for Veena. I'm sure she has her hands full already. I didn't really think this through, It was just a thought I had at 5am lol. What do you think?

I think this is a great idea! I always see some posters repeatedly on Veena and I almost want to read an editorial or watch an interview with them, regardless of if they’re beginner or intermediate or advanced just because they’re such awesome people! I would love to see something like this. I like seeing the monthly challenges because they challenge the dancer, but it isn’t competitive. I’m assuming that this also wouldn’t in the slightest be competitive, but still a nice little way to shine some well deserved spotlight on some of our lovely Veeners 🙂

That's a great idea! Not only does it give recognition to our efforts as dancers and athletes, but it would give us the opportunity to get to know our fellow polers better. Love it!

Veena actually used to do this quite a while back. I remember seeing an interview with Amber (before she was the Amber we all know) and also I think with Joel. Don't remember who else she had interviewed.

Would be so lovely! I love being able to get know people better 🙂 I loved those interviews – they even went to X-pole!
