Safari Appearance
So I’m seriously thinking about making the switch from PC to Mac and I wanted to inquire about how well Safari (the Mac web browser) and StudioVeena.com pay together. Is the appearance correct? No wonky graphics? Do the videos work? Can you upload videos from a Mac? I seem to remember some mention that some people here use Macs. Any input that anyone might have would be much appreciated. Thanks for everyone’s time!

StudioVeena.Com will render great in Safari, Internet Explorer, Firefox and Chrome. It is in fact entirely developed on Macintosh, and I am even typing this message on a Mac. Macintosh will not force you to use Safari, you can in fact run Firefox, Google Chrome, Opera and several other browsers and if you are comfortable with emulation software you can even run Internet Explorer but I don’t recommend it because its absolutely not neccessary.
Go Mac, don’t look back you will love it. Your best value in mac is the new Macbook or Mackbook Pro 13 inch, you can also enter the Mac family inexpensively with the Mac Mini. Whatever you choose however you can’t go wrong.

Can I just second that. Macs are awesome. I used PCs up until a while a go, but I was persuaded to buy a macbook. Definitely a good move, worth speniding more than you would on a PC. Yesterday was my first time ever using video recording/editing/uploading software, and found it pre installed on my mac, totally easy to use and uploaded to SV like a dream! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif

I LOOOOOOVE my Mac. It’s annoying to go back into PC world at work, I tell you. I do everything on it from making videos to selecting music and watching my instructional DVD’s for pole. Got my new Mac on Thursday, going to the Store today to get it all set up and to learn the basics. Can’t wait. Thank you to everyone who shared their experiences.

I have Safari on my PC, I LOVE it! Its easier to use and doesnt crash on me as often as IE does. I also have mine set up to run spell check as a I type since I am not the greatest speller. I do own a mac but its so old its hard to keep up. I have an apple ibook (you know those super cute ones that came out in the late 90’s), and its on Mac 10.2. Yeah, im few OS behind but it runs just as good as my pc. I want to upgrade and get a newer mac, but its gonna have to wait.

Another good browser for you all to try is called Chrome. You can get it for Mac and PC and it is super fast!!!

i have been using macs at home for the last 12 years & i LOVE them!!! i recently got the new 13" unibody MacBook & i love it so much! anytime i ever have to use a PC (like at my old job) i always hate it! once you go Mac, you never go back https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_mrgreen.gif
