I’ll be in San Diego next month for a few days and wanted to know if anyone can recommend a pole studio out that way that has drop in classes at an intermediate/advanced level.

    Thanks
    Jen

These instructors are really good. I’ve worked with one of them and had a student visit their studio last summer and enjoyed her class.

    https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_sad.gif Their logo needs redesigning.

As is, it looks like pole dancers are so foolish that we can’t spell sensations.

    It needs to be like…
SINsations, with the SIN looking particularly decadent.

I’ll agree with Amcut on the logo…it just looks like they don’t know how to spell, not that they’re emphasizing the crazy, dirty, sexy side of dance, like I assume they’re trying to do. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_rolleyes.gif
However, I’d say it looks like they have some good instructors, and some alright classes. Maybe it would be fun to learn old moves from a new studio, eh? https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_salut.gif

You can also check out fun pole fitness. All of the instructors that teach pole are ACE certified and certified through Pole Positions.

    I go here =]  http://www.sumara-pole.com

They do have a requirement that people need to take an intro to pole class tho, so it may not work with your schedule.

Try out The Dollhouse Fitness in Encinitas! It’s my favorite studio in San Diego. They are doing a buy one get one free special right now for new students too!

I own Pegasus Pilates and Aerial Fitness. I have small Pole and Aerial Hammock classes. (Pilates and Barre classes too) I am located in Solana Beach (right next to Del Mar) I take the approach to Pole as more of the "artistry of pole" verses Pole "sassy" dance classes. My classes are geared towards all levels so that each individual can learn at their own pace.
