Scorpio to Crucifix to Scorpio Spin
Hi everyone,
First off lemme introduce myself- I’m a very part-time pole teacher in Austin, TX. Hello.
My question is… I’ve seen a lot of dancers on you tube spin out of scorpio or outside leg hook to face the pole in a crucifix or bat position. it’s an inverted spin on the pole and looks super pretty.. The latest one I’ve seen is a teacher from BeSpun go from scorpio, spin all the way around while still inverted on the pole, and back to a leg hook. She does it so fast that I can’t tell if she is keeping the hooked leg the same or switching it at the end of the trick.
Does anyone know the step by step way to do this move? With or without the additional leg hook. I figure if scorpio is fairly easy for me and bat is fairly easy for me.. and doing a leg switch or flatline scorpio is pretty easy… this move can’t be that hard!!

I figure if scorpio is fairly easy for me and bat is fairly easy for me.. and doing a leg switch or flatline scorpio is pretty easy… this move can’t be that hard!!

If you’re good with scorpio on both sides it’s not too hard the thing is getting it sped up. The key to that is the thigh grip.
This move is a staple for me now but I wish I could do it faster and maintain the body lines but I have to take a second to hold it.
