Posted by Dancing Paws on August 5, 2011 at 8:19 pmI have not been dancing in my shoes cuz they leave scuff marks on my floor. What can take the marks off? I really want to wear my shoes again!!!

I haven't danced in pole shoes, but I assume it would be similar to any old shoe scuff… this may sound odd, but I have always found a regular old white rubber eraser to do the trick 😛

I have used rubbing alcohol but don't put that on a surface it will damage! I ended up putting a section of sheet vinyl under my pole so I scuff in wild abandon when I pole. The downside is occasional vinyl burn… but still worth it.

mr clean magic erasers but test on your floor first to make sure its not going to damamge your floor.

My apartment has that fake plastic tile stuff (laminate???)

Very old fashioned remedy: wd40 on those laminate tiles. Then wipe up so no grease is left.

I do have an unopened can of wd40 from the frost that never froze my car locks…:D

I think it was either Target or Sears – there was a guy with a tennis ball at the end of a stick and he used that to wipe out scuff marks.
