Seraph Pole Trick Breakdowns?
Posted by yawningcat on August 4, 2015 at 9:34 amI stumbled upon this amazing trick a few days ago and just today I finally found out the name of the move yet haven’t been able to find the breakdowns for this move. This is called Seraph. Can anyone give us a breakdown for this move please? Oh and I would LOVE it if Veena could actually bring this move to the lesson video! Thank you! ♡♡

i have seen this recently too! also known as ‘the thinker’ (that was with both legs bent with knees up, as though you were sitting) and also ‘the buttcruncher’ haaaahaha. i know someone who tried it the other day and she said make sure the pole is on a butt cheek not your crack haa, apparently it is very painful otherwise!!!
i think she got into it from superman, i will try find the video =) -
We once worked on it from side superman… I can’t really think of a good exit though…

i found the video on facebook but cant figure out how to share it here on my phone derrrpp but u can probably watch it on fb…. its Leah Rose: go into her videos and it is the third one along =)

@emily.laura_ insta has showed how to get into it but I was hoping there is a detailed breakdown for it 😅 I tried this move this afternoon and almost fall face first hahahaha i will let you guys know if I too find a video with a more detailed breakdowns! ♡♡

Miztik has a video of her doing this move, she could probably give you tip’s on it

Allyson : I wonder if it is easier to get into from side superman than it is from superman? What do you think?
Mystical : Where can I find it? 🙂

I do think it allows you to have the pole off the tailbone and on one cheek. I wasn’t really able to coordinate and hold the whole thing (I was basically learning it the same day I was learning side superman) so I need to revisit it for sure.

Miztik is a lady on this site, her video says superman variation, I’m not sure how to get to her profile. If I can find her I will message her and let her know you would like a break down

I posted on her video where it will show up for everyone to see, her name is xxMystikxx,

Hey guys thanks for letting me know. I had no idea the move I did was a seraph. All I can say is when you get into your normal superman, That top hand that’s holding the pole is going to be thumb up,and is going to be lowered a little bit than normal. ( it’s not necessary but it helps) . then bring your other hand to grab the pole under the top hand. That hand is going to be thumb down and it’s going to be low like right on top of your butt. From there bring whatever leg that feels most comfortable to fold in front of the pole. Hooking it in front of the pole. Then quickly bring the other leg an bend/ hook that leg over/ in front of the already folded leg. That’s all I can ex really I’m sorry if this doesn’t help. It really is all about when u find a comfortable position for your butt lol. If I feel like my butta going to tear another one I can take my legs off an fold em in front . but when it feels comfor table enough for me to take a leg off then I know I can quickly finish the move an hold it. Just keep trying u will get it! I always wanted to try the version where the legs just hang down and I was never able to get it till I tried this with those two simple modifications. Top hand lower than normal. And bottom hand thumb down and directly on / over my butt. That somehow helped me to pull or hold my self better while bringing the legs in front.

An it was directly on my butt crack tmi sorry. Haha I did not have it on one butt cheek like you guys talked about above but I’m sure you could so that too!! I know in the pic her arms are far from her butt and I explained how the lower hand will be touching your butt but it’ll only be touching your butt for that brief couple seconds until you bring your legs in front then you’ll slide a little from it. I have a video on my page if u wanna see me get into it.

Please be careful if you choose to place the pole on the tailbone, this could bruise terribly or even cause unnecessary trauma to the sacrum. I’ve not tried this move yet, but I’ll give it a go in a few weeks after my vacation. If I have time to put my pole up before I leave Thursday I’ll give it a go, and provide tips.

I go in from superman too, I put the pole on the glute muscle to side of tailbone. Hang on will stick vid up.
