    So…

I just bought some BEAUTIFUL Ellie shoes, from a local place, and…well, I broke them! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_confused.gif

I was just giving them a go, I haven't worn them much (probably about 4 times in a month), and…well, I landed wrong, knee went into the pole (which I have a bruise from, but not too bad) and my foot went one way, my shoe went the other! I've got strong, but flexible ankles, so I'm okay…but the shoe is not!

The ankle strap, where it goes into the shoe in the inside, came RIGHT out! Probably about a half inch of strap, plus some glue, a tiny metal bit, and some stiff plasticy things on either side. Looks pretty awesome.

Anyone know how/where I could get them repaired? Do you think a normal shoe repair place could do it? Any chance I could do it myself (because I lack money!)? It goes into a small hole under the padding, between that and the plastic bit that makes up the rest of the shoe. I can't really shove it back in…and I imagine some damn good glue would have to be used, but I was just thinking…maybe!

I think you can do it yourself… Although I have not repaired shoes myself. I would open the padding a bit, just so I can sand the surface, apply some crazy glue, stick the strap back in. should probably sit some heavy weights for hours on it afterwards.
