I have 6 or 7 pairs of pleaser shoes, and I love them. I have tried a few other brands, and they were not for me. I find that with Pleasers if you are a half size it is best to go one size smaller, and with heels that don’t have the ankle strap go one size smaller. They will be a little snug at first, but they will keep you from kicking off the heel mid dance. I can’t tell you how many times I have done this with heels that were slightly too big. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_redface.gif The main reason why you want to go one size smaller is because of how much the plastic will stretch. At first it won’t be too apparent, but then you will notice after dancing in them for a while.

Shoebuy.com has a surprising selection and often have sales/free shipping, but I’ve personally had better luck with Ellie brand than Pleaser brand. Snaz75.com is great too. I bought these; http://www.shoebuy.com/pleaser-sweet-438/242271/518925 and was not satisfied. The stitching on the material that loops around and holds the ankle strap on fell apart within 18 hours of dancing. In addition the non-slip grip on the bottom of the shoe started to peel off soon after. I would now only buy a heel if the ankle strap was one piece, attached to the shoe. I’ve have these; http://www.snaz75.com/el-601-brook.html for 4 months and they’ve held up great, dancing and bartending.

I’ve bought a couple of pairs of Pleasers from shoebuy.com and have had a good experience. If you google "shoebuy coupons" you can usually find a coupon code – I got a great deal that way!

I also only wear pleaser (tony shoes are actually the best but more expensive) and they hold up well usually i get a good two months out of them before i take them to the shoe maker to repair something (broken clasp, missing skid, sole coming up) Shoe repair will save you a lot of money.
two months is good for me and a pair of shoes since I teach in them no less than 10hrs a week but average about 16hr in them. Other brands only last me a couple of weeks.
Does ANYONE else feel like an ultimate shoe destroyer?

speaking of shoes…. does anyone know a good pair of boots for dancing? I tried dancing in a pair of boots that i have and i loved the momentum that the platform gave me but the buckles ended up cutting my shins up. I am not a heel kinda girl and really like the "hardcore" looking boots……

I ordered my shoes! I got Kiss 209 in white and Kiss 218 in black. I’m usually an 8, 8.5 or 9 depending on the shoe. Some of the reviews said that the shoes were a little tight so I ordered them in 9. Hopefully they wont be too loose. I’ll let you guys know how they work out when I get them. Thanks for the help!
