    Hello everyone !

Im new in this site and have learned a lot , from you people !

I hve a question for shoes and boots

what's the best heel /platform height for the pole ? my problem is I feel too tall in 8 inch (im not that tall only 5 9" ) but is just me ! but I wear a size 9.5 and do not want my feet look even bigger!

I saw many girls in clear shoes /boots  my question is clear  always comfy ? clear boots up to the kneee or ankle  with patern leggings look very cool .but not sure is flexible or too hot , anybody had experience?

    Thanks again !

I don't know of many people who actually dance in 8" heels (save a few badasses like Shadow).  Generally most start at 5.5 or 6" and work their way up.

All but one pair of my boots are ankle high just because my calves sweat like crazy.  Ankle high ones keep them aired but knee high or higher for me are very uncomfortable.  Have you ever gone roller or ice skating?  How sweaty were your feet?  This is pretty much what dancing in boots is going to feel like, except most skates are leather whereas most dance boots are vinyl (read, they don't breathe).

Hmm dance in whatever you feel comfortable in! That also applies to outfits, pole wear.
I like to warm up in leg warmers and depending on what I feel like, I keep them on or take them off when I put on my stilettos. I worked up from 5″ Pleasers ‘Dolly’ (haha they’re maryjanes) to 7″ ‘stripper’ platform stilettos. I feel comfortable in no higher.
Depending if I ‘need’ to work on a climb strength or need to feel the flexibility in my back (1 handed, regrip, twisted spins) I wear boots to recognize/feel I need to turn out more for the spin to work. If my boots stick, I know I need to turn my back/shoulders/body out more or scoop more.
I am 5’9″ and pole for fitness, fun, me. Not profession, or competitions. (Cheers for the pole performers of ALL forms!)
So all I can give you is my reason of the cute shoes I dance in.
Remember you need to point toes and be aware how your hips (turn in or out) & legs look with certain spins & transitions in different footwear!

I need to see these clear boots! I have these great Pleasers ‘treasure’ style that are clear platforms so I can stuff them with cool items or seasonal theme gadgets!

Cute! I would splash some of my personality and sometimes add different laces, colourful leg warmers/garters, tights/ fishnets underneath. Keep them clean from fingerprints if you dance in/under black-UV light, they might show up.
Have fun with them. Dance in whatever makes you feel -the way you want to feel. I don’t wear girly shoes at all. But for pole I’m ‘I gotta get these glittery or rhinestone ones, etc!’
