I'm based in the UK and looking for some decent platform stilettos that will last more than five minutes!

I'd rather not pay for shipping from abroad and don't have an over-generous budget. So far I've only tried the Nitelife brand – they look the part, but while the shoes I bought  in December still seem fine, a pair of boots purchased at the start of January are already showing serious signs of wear and tear. The heels are tearing away from the soles so I will have to see about getting them repaired or just throwing them out.

To be fair I am dancing on carpet and I think this must be pretty harsh on the boots, but would still appreciate any recommendations anyone has. Thank you 🙂

I've got more pairs of footwear than I care to admit from Nitelife, they seem to have the biggest range I've found in the UK, and so far only one pair of sandals has worn through at all. It's possible that different styles might be harder wearing?

Thanks Gsylass. Good to know you've had good experiences with them… as I said, the one pair's doing great, I was just shocked to see the other wear like that so quickly. Maybe I was just unlucky and there was a fault in that batch.

I was told in a store that there is only one company that produces the platforms that are used for all the brands, be it pleaser or any other. it's only what comes upon it that differs (sandal straps, insole etc). don't know if this helps at all … just wanted to let you know that the lower part of the shoe is probably the same with all the shoes, whether nitelife or anything else. if the real problem is the part above it, then you might want to try pleaser. everyone I know wears them, and there certainly are online shops where you can buy some cut-rate.
