Short Ceiling Delima
So, the hubby and I have been house hunting for almost 2 years now. Long story. We thought we were getting a short sale and after wasting almost 9 months on waiting AFTER they accepted our offer, we have decided to move on. I want to find a home with nice tall ceilings. We never even found houses with ceilings as tall as the ones in our apartment when we looked before. I didn’t realize houses had such low ceilings!!! Well we want to get out there again and find those tall ceilings. My question is how. Is there a certain type of home we should look for?? Is there any type of solution fir homes with short ceilings??? I just refuse to move to a shorter pole. I can barely do what I need to on this one. I have practiced on shorter ones before and it is not good. I kick the ceiling, can only do one climb if that, and hit the ceiling if I catipillar. I can’t do it. Help!!

good luck on finding high ceilings! im sure u will, i am stuck with a ceiling under 7ft, it sucks!! lol

Under 7???? Is it a basement? How do you invert or so drops?

i just posted a few video drops actually! and i invert fine, altho i cant do straight edges n such unless i grab the bottom of the pole. lol ugh no its not a basement its a mobile home, plus im short 5'1….but i dream of a longer pole!! lol in the living room the ceiling is 8 but the ceilings there arent flat, may try to brace one there soon, or just wait till we move to a house. in the meantime, ya im stuck with super low ceilings, but i still have learned alot!

Assuming it’s similar to Australia – older places. Were looking at the moment and I’m desperate not to move into something newish unless we build (so I can ask for high ceilings!). My place currently is about 12 years old and I cam touch the ceiling standing on the ground.
