Agree with SexyRockStarsWife! I picked up a black pair of those side tie shorts for $5 at Walmart. They’re so comfy too. I also got a pair of Bongo yoga shorts at Kmart for $10. I prefer the length of these but the foldover part is pretty big. I have to fold them over once more to my liking. haha

I’ve gotten all my fav shorts from Justice (the kids clothing store). Their “oh so soft boy shorts” come in a million super cute colors and prints. They also have ones that are specifically for dance, which are higher in the waist and “longer” (still as short as shorts can be, but your booty doesn’t hang out lol). All the other places I’ve found good shorts at have been discount stores (dd’s discounts, Burlington, etc) and at the local flea market. I’ve seen ones with higher waistlines at both.. Some specifically designed for “tummy control” and some just cut more modestly than others. I’d just suggest trying them on first, bc some of the cheap ones get see-thru when you put them on. Cute, practical pole shorts don’t have to cost a lot of $. 🙂

UnderArmour compression shorts are great. I pull them up a bit if I need extra inner thigh skin grip.

I usually wear booty shorts meant for dance, I have some by Capezio and some Balera. Cheap, comfy, and short enough for good grip.
