Show-off Men!!
Posted by AnnVann on February 20, 2014 at 12:23 amSo I was working on my Veena exercises for learning to invert…my husband walks in and says, “Is this it?” and flips right up into a perfect invert. (!!) Well, his toes weren’t pointed, I noted jealously.
This evening I walked into the garage to practice, and he was in there doing the crucifix! I can’t believe it. Do you guys have husbands / boyfriends take over your pole?dancingqueans replied 10 years, 9 months ago 14 Members · 14 Replies -

Now when you think back of it…that last time he said he was going bowling…why were the lights on in the garage…yes, it’s creepy…he was practising the invert..!

When I first started poling my boyfriend was having a go and went upside down so easily I was so jealous! Recently I tried to teach him a flag but he couldn’t do it at all lol. Now that I’ve been poling for 6 months he can’t keep up lol

My boyfriend can’t walk past my pole without touching it or jumping in to some
Move. He’s doing handsprings, shoulder mounts, inverts , air inverts , flag. You name it the little shit can get it first go!!! I’ve actually posted a vid of him before if you check out my page you guys will see him lol. He also taught me how to do a headstand. He annoys me so much. Haha. -
My hubby can’t resist either. It was worse when I first got my pole lol! This is hilarious to read.

Hahaha! I love this thread. I think they just have to try something on our poles. My husband tried to climb and was unsuccessful and I laughed my ass off. He gave me mad props after that for doing the tricks I was doing.

Hubby has played on my pole a few times. Last time he was trying to invert, if our ceilings were taller and more pole length, he would have gotten it! He was able to instantly do the corkscrew spin, one that I still am unable to get. One of these days I’ll sneak a picture of him doing something 😉

It’s so awesome how pole brings out the fun active kid in us! My hubby isn’t the most active person in the world and he couldn’t resist voluntarily doing the back bend slide when I showed it to him. Fresh from work, full work jeans, coat, and all! I coached him through it and he did it. It was awesome. 🙂

To add to this… While my boyfriend isn’t really interested my dad always has a go! He says he swings on it every morning and it helps to loosen up his back. I’ve showed him how to do a stag spin, climb, pole ups and the air walk. He loves it haha and is really impressed with my strength.

I’ve set my pole up numerous different places. ..from bars to parking lots to garages and I have to beg women to learn but the men don’t even need to be asked. They are usually the first ones on it!

Hee hee I love this!! My boyfriend hasn’t tried yet, despite my encouragement… I think he’s scared that it will prove that I’m stronger than he is!!

I’m the opposite, I can’t get my fiancee to come to a lesson with me! I’m hoping when we move house and I get a buy that I can convince her to try a spin or two.
-
I wish my bf would do that! I have tried to get him to try something on the pole – ANYTHING! The first time I met his brother, he even did a doubles trick with me but still my bf wouldn’t try anything!!
It really makes me angry sometimes, but then I have to remind myself that he’s great in many other ways and I shouldn’t get too bratty about it. Pole means so much to me, but that doesn’t mean it has to mean the same to him. He’s supportive, but I get selfish sometimes and want the over-the-top-super-enthusiastic support that is a bit harder to find. If not trying pole tricks is my biggest complaint about him, things are pretty good! haha -
Im not going to lie I have told a few dates they had to do an invert before any hanky panky and it works on motivating them to work that pole! 🙂 just a thought. but first you gotta get them REALLY turned on 🙂
