  • Silly Question #2 stretching/flexability

    I have never been a stretcher per se, but now that I've started, I can't seem to get eneough of it!  One weird thing I've noticed is that I sleep with my knees pulled way up under my armpits !?!  I guess I do it because I can…I have no idea.

    So, silly question #2 is:  Is anyone else "addicted" (for lack of a better word) to stretching or flexability training?  Please tell me I'm not the only one.

    You are def. NOT the only one! I just started Felix Cane's Flexibilty DVD and it is all I can think about. I work on my toe point when I am sitting around. Everything I think is about flexibility!

    You are so not alone! lol

    I also just purchased Bob Cooley's The Genius of Flexibility. I think being flexible makes your lines while dancing absolutely amazing. So, I am right there with you!

    I’m right there with you!! I find myself looking for opportunities throughout my day to turn ordinary tasks (like cleaning, dusting, etc) into flexibility exercises. And then whenever I can I am stretching 🙂

    Lmaooo I do the sameee!! Reaching for something turns into a 15-30 second dramatization!!

    Hahaha exactly!! I work as a nanny and the funny thing is, all my ways to sneak stretching into my day ate rubbing off on the kiddies. I find them reaching and bending and sitting in positions I do 😉

    I'm addicted to stretching. I love the feeling in yoga. I love the feeling of that comfortable edge. Even the pain is love. Extra counter stretching after pole. Extra stretching the day after contortion. Stretch randomly in the car or sitting somewhere.
