Hi guys, yet again im having trouble with my pole! Its all up and sorted, although when im on it sometimes.. not all the time.. or even after certain moves it seems to loosen itself at the screws for spinny? So the pole itself will move maybe a few cm around? If that makes sense? ha! I tighten them up again and make sure it is as secure and tight as i can, but it could happen again! (happened three times tonight!)

Does anyone have any idea why this might be happening? Its getting frustrating because it never happens at our pole classes, so theres obviously something wrong with the way mine is up? So frustrating!

I will assume that you are speaking of an XPole?

First, make sure you are aligning the holes with the x's on the base.

Second, make sure that when you tightened the pole in the first place that you put the screws in the channels and not on the threads (the screws under the adjustor cover).

Third, make sure you are putting the allen wrench ALL THE WAY inside the set screw before tightening.

Also (assuming it's an Xpert XPole), you might want to alter tightening the screws. I will tighten one side just until I feel resistance, then the other, and will go back to the first side and tighten it some more.

Hi guys thanks for the replies, its the older version of the xpert xpole, i have the x's lined up and alternate tightening them to make sure its as tight as i can get it! It just refuses to behave for me! :/

I have this issue as well (x-pole). At first I thought it was normal and a quirk I was going to have to work around. Honestly it happens much too quickly and it gets worse as my session goes on and I have to keep constantly tightening it. I took it apart and at the bottom base part the screws are wearing it kinda funky.

My ceiling is funky (older house) and my room-ate is going to put a piece of board up at the joist and he is going to build me a tile area for the bottom cuz I told him hate dancing on carpet. Maybe this added stability will correct the issue, but I'm not getting my hopes up on that one.

After all this, I am going to put the pole back up and see how it performs however I doubt this will correct the issue so when it doesn't I plan on doing what is recommenced in this forum. https://www.studioveena.com/forums/view/50874ccd-630c-45bc-bbdc-1fe60ac37250

I hope that forum helps you, it seems pretty legit to me. I won't be able to do this for a couple days as my pole is down but when I figure it out I will let you know. And if you figure it out please let me know https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif

So should i tighten the ones at the top of my pole as ive the older version? When i retighten the bottom spinny/static screws when it happens it does stop the problem.. For a little while at least!
