Slipping on titanium gold pole
Posted by louisalyl6264 on April 25, 2015 at 12:13 amHi everyone
My bf just bought me a TG pole for my birthday. I find that i’m slipping a lot especially when i’m trying to hold pole sits. The pole just slides right between my thighs. Anyone have any suggestions for how to stick to the pole?carlabruin20156465 replied 9 years, 7 months ago 6 Members · 7 Replies -

Have you fully warmed up yourself and the pole? Even a titanium pole will feel slick if your body isn’t warm. Or are you slipping from sweat?

I guess I need to warm up myself more. How would you suggest to warm up the pole?
Thank you for your quick reply!

There are many routines you can use as warm ups in the routine and combo section of the lessons. This warm up I created warms the pole too! This called the basic warm up https://www.studioveena.com/lessons/view/52e9ddc7-6c54-4f49-b60b-48950a9aa0eb
There aw also pole warmers you can buy and the option of using a steamer to clean and warm the pole! 😊

Hi! I have a stainless steal pole and they are generally pretty slippery. Itac is where it’s at for thighs and non-hand areas. And of course warming up your pole. Good luck!

My TG pole is super slippery unless it’s warm. I usually try to climb to the top a couple of times and slide down slow with “crucifix” legs. Also the warmup routines here on SV warm you and the pole up at the same time so they are great if you have the lessons. Once my TG pole gets warmed up a bit (and I get warmed up too) I stick great. TG is my favorite finish by far.

I love my TG but, yeah it has to be warm… And do do you! (Though this was the same with my crome and stainless, so I don’t think it’s unique to TG, for me anyway)
Veena teaches shoulder slides down the pole. That’s another great one to warm both up 🙂
