Hi! I am trying my BEST to upload a video with my own song of choice. My trouble is, once I choose a song to dance to and after I have recorded myself, the song playin in the video is very low. But I have my speakers(stereo) up loud so that sound may be recorded and heard with playback. When I record, I am using my laptops webcam for the footage.  Help me please!

I have the same problem, no matter how loud the stereo sounds to me, my recordings sound quiet and dull.  The best solution is to use a video editor and mute the video track, then add in the song in a music track.  This allows you to control the volume and quality of the sound.

I use CyberLink Power Director 8.  But it's not a free program, and I don't know what it costs.  Maybe someone else can recommend a good free one, or you could try to google for one.

Windows (Live) Movie Maker comes free with Windows and I use it to do exactly what dustbunny suggested.
