  • Spinning Mode Seems Bent and Noisy on Xpert pole?

Posted by Desirae on May 28, 2012 at 5:30 pm

My spinning mode seems fine when I am on it but when I try to turn it with my hands it makes noise and when it comes to one spot, it's a little hard to turn. This was not so all the time. Also, when I turn it with my hands, it seems to appear bent. Any ideas on what could have caused it or solutions? I made a video to see what I'm talking about…check out :49 of it.

Hope to see your responses if you can help. I don't want to damage it any more.

It may be overtightened; my pole did exactly this until I was told it might be too tight and now it spins smoothly and quietly (though ever so slightly bent…not enough to really bother me though, and it doesn’t seem to be getting any worse).
To remedy this, once I get my pole leveled out, I’ll tighten it just enough that it doesn’t move given a good gorilla shake and a fireman spin. It might take longer if I have to readjust but at least I know it’s set up right!

I have a PS pole, but that is exactly what mine did when it was overtightened (too much tension between the floor and ceiling).

Is it a 50mm??? My 50mm started bowing after a while and started hesitating on spin mode. If you try loosening it and find that doesn't fix it, then it might be the curve of the pole causing the hesitation.

Yes it is a 50mm and @sensual… I do find it’s bent . It’s not hesitating to spin completely, just in a certain spot so I will loosen it. Lol at the gorilla shake 🙂

That is what happened with mine. It would stall at a certain point on the rotation, then release. It also made a weird clunking noise.

You can see that its super tight, as the floor is compressed severly. What happens when you loosen off some tension?
