That has been happening to me too when I have the windows open. I like the stickiness better for inverts, but if it gets too sticky I just turn on a box fan.

Thanks i’ll have to try the fan. Do you like your powder coated? I thought about getting a pink lil mynx. Im not quite up to inverts yet as I have ZERO upper body strength. None. and Columbus https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif

I have the pink one but if I had to do it over I would get an X pole. I like the portability and the expandability of the X.

I have the pink lil mynx https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif I love it! My friend has a stainless steel PS pole and I def. prefer powder coated to stainless as far as grip goes. Plus LiL Mynx comes in a lot of cute colors! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_flower.gif It is defiently very grippy, especially this summer. I live in GA & my pole is in part of our unfinished basement and so far I haven’t really had any grip issues except for when its toooooo hot & I’m sweating like crazy! ha. Mid 70s weather sound like a dream, btw, most days here its mid 90s. lol.

I just bought a slightly used Lil Mynx pole (black). The girl I bought it from had it wrapped in something and there were tape "stickies" on it. I used Goo Gone to clean it and am having trouble gripping with my thighs. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_scratch.gif I did clean it afterwards with water but think it must need something else. I’m considering mild soap and water then wiping it down with alcohol. Anyone have any other suggestions in case that doesn’t work?

Goo Gone I believe is a petroleum based solvent, which will leave an oily residue. The alcohol should work wonders for it. Worse comes to worse if you have access to the orange pumice hand cleaner that stuff is wonderful (GREAT for bath tub rings, too!!). Last would be a dilute mixture of LA’s AWESOME which can be found at pretty much any dollar store. It is a yellow liquid in a spray bottle with red lettering. DO NOT use it full strength, it will dry the crap out of your hands!

Thank you so much! I knew the Goo Gone was oil based but thought just water would clean it off. Which is retrospect makes no sense at all. Thanks again! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif
