Stretching my Pleasers
Hi ladies….maybe you can help me loosen these babies up https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_lol.gif I usually wear a 7.5 or an 8 but these were 7s that were brand new with stickers someone had bought and was selling on ebay for $20 so i figured guess I’m trying a 7 https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_lol.gif They’re ok in length, but they’re the standard peep toe pleasers and they are just too narrow for my beefy toes. My little toes actually get forced to curl under and as my grandma had horrible feet in her advanced age I’m not looking to get hammertoe https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_eek.gif . I’m trying to figure the best way to get some more width out of it…I think I would have to use some heat to get them to widen the extra 1/4"-1/2" I want because they just don’t seem to be stretching enough with my feet alone, and any stretch I do get out of them disappears if I don’t wear them for a few days. I don’t want to have to wear them everyyyy day to get them to stretch. I’m more of a barefoot person https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif

My mom gets those wooden shoe stretching blocks.
I imagine the wedge shaped ones would work fine for stretching a pair of pleasers if you shoved it in there and maybe used a dryer to get it nice and loosey goosey?

yup a blow dryer will work and after you have heated up the shoes a bit you can put on socks and smoosh your feet into the shoes…OR us the wooden shoe expander thingys lol

Hmmm so I can just get the shoes themselves hot and press something not hot into them? I figured I would have to heat something up and put the hot thing into it to stretch it. I’m worried I’ll mess up big time just hitting the shoes themselves with a blow dryer, like amcut said think I’ll melt the toe cover right off https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_lol.gif

An easy way to stretch your shoes is to take 2 sandwich bags and fill them with water and place the bags in your shoes and then put your shoes in the freezer. The ice will help to expand it naturally https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif
