Strong Enough?
I have been working on an invert for nearly eight months. At first I thought I was just not strong enough so I went to the gym and started using the chin up machines. I have also been using free weights in addition to pole. I guess I want to know how do you know if it is a strength problem (just not ready yet) versus a form (strong enough but not doing it right) problem. I have studied YouTube, Veenas lessons, and watched people in my class. One instructor told me that since I can do other strength moves such as a pencil hold but not an invert I may never get it and I should be ok with it. I am trying to accept that position but so many more moves can come from the invert so I really want to get it. Thoughts?
