Hey!  I have lost my studio space effective August 1st!  I'm negotiating a new space right now and hopefully will know something by Tuesday.  The ceilings in the new place are 12 feet finished.  My question is, which semi or permanent pole would you reccommend?  I have the new x-poles now but have had so many issues with them on a lower ceiling.  I also would prefer the permanent poles as I will be in the new space for a minimum of 5 years.  Any and all input would be greatly appreciated!!  Thank you in advance!!!

http://www.PoleDanzer.com is great to work with and very good quality poles. They have stainless that grips very much like chrome and brass poles.

I talked to Randy at lil mynx. He said that they can make taller poles. He said they could make me poles almost 10 feet tall. Call them and see if they could make 12 ft poles. Lil mynx is a great company to work with. The pole is one piece so that is a plus. Several studio owners have told me that platinum stages is impossible to work with.

Lil' Mynx are good poles to go with…the tallest poles of theirs I've worked on were 15 feet.

Thanks ladies!!  I appreciate the suggestions!!  I do like the grip on the stainless always have!  I cannot get a grip on the x-pole long enough to do anything!! lol  My main concern is having poles that will not give or fall…and I'm so tired of tearing down poles to clean put up again to make sure they stay tight!!

As long as you regularly cvheck the tighness of the LM poles, they shouldn't come down. I'm going to have to be putting mine up and taking them down a lot!

I just bought 6 poles from platinum stages and they were really helpful. I always hear about their "drama" but i had really great service from them. Their brass pole is amazing!!!!

Pleasure poles are very good, one piece poles in 45 or 50, they are removeable and are really easy toput up and remove. Can't think what metal they are though..
