I recently was in a competition and was really disappointed to not even place. While I don’t agree with some of the ways that points were distributed, I do know my technique needs a LOT of work. When I watch many on the pole they always look elongated and light and flow like. I feel I often look like I am struggling or awkward on the pole. I love pole and love sharing what I do with an audience etc. but am growing increasingly discouraged. I have not been on this site in a year and I am trying to get back to my roots. Lets face it, no one knows pole more than people on this site. So please I need advice critique and tips and tricks to get to a point where I am proud of what I see when I record etc. I would love if there are people looking to mentor if any, but at minimum advice or someone to bounce videos off of. My stuff posted here is older but I will be uploading new things soon. I am in the middle of moving so time is chaotic. 🙁 Thank you in advance for the awesome support this community always brings to the table!

I don’t have any advice. As I’m no where close to competing… But I watched you’re video https://www.studioveena.com/videos/view/531b9627-0ca0-4a30-910f-44f30a9aa0eb
And it was really fantastic. Seriously. I’m happy to see you around here again 🙂

You are so sweet!!! I have only done small competitions around the area, but I want to be capable of sooo much more!!! It is hard with some people on this sight and all over youtube… so much to compare to… even though I shouldn’t be doing that LOL
