First off… woohoo!  I got the teddy!!

…at least I think I did lol.  I'm just wondering about body placements and what the proper body points are that hold you up.  I got it by using the back/top of my leg in addition to my arm to grip the pole.  I've seen some YouTubers and pics of people with their whole lower body in front of the pole (or at least it looks that way).  Is there a position thats more correct?

In the second position, it seems that all your weight is held on simply by the arm (?)

    Any tips?

    Thanks!! 🙂

When I do this move I use a "piece of property" right behind my hip bone and at the top of my butt.  People who have more flexy to their back and arms can use more of the top of their butt, hence putting them in front of the pole.  This way if you have flexy hip flexors you can also get the legs higher in the air.

Yes okay thanks I think thats the 'piece of property' I use as well.  I watched a video of a girl who did it, but she was wearing leggings and still did the teddy, so then I was really confused of how she was using her body to hold on besides the use of her arm!  Anyways, thanks for the tips 🙂

If I have a tank on I can hold with just armpit, no back–though it's a LOT easier to do with a little back skin on the pole! I normally try to get the pole as close to centered on my back as possible, then bring the catch arm around and down to lock the grip.
