    Hello Gelina,

Yes I live in Houston Texas. I would love to come but just dont know if I can make the time of 9a-12p (I have class that day). So I will keep watching to see what the final time will be.
In the future I would love to host one in here in Houston. I own a studio down here that would accomodate everyone with no problems and 8 permanent poles. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif
    Thanks for explaining.

I’m def gonna be in Dallas for the Jan. date. Dallas traffic and the huge tall bridges….. Scares the crap outta me. But I’ll be there if I have to take every backroad in Texas to get there. I have a friend that lives in Livingston (spelling?) that could help me around Houston if we set a jam up there too! It’s sooo cool how many people are getting in on this! I’m ready for Christmas to be over so I can get started on the new year!

Hi, friends. This message isn’t an absolute no, but I did want to express the unlikeliness of my attendance at the jam. I’m going to have to purchase a new mobile phone, which will set me back financially, after a weird (almost freak) accident landed mine in a glass of water. That, combined with the surprise of "adopting" a teen friend who has been having trouble at home, have placed a certain financial burden on me. So if providence supplies funds I certainly want to meet and dance with all of you! But do not be surprised if it proves impossible.

WOW! This is amazing all the folks that want to do this!! I’m super excited. Which is good, cause I’ve been kinda bummed out and not poling much lately. I can’t wait to meet you all!

I’m not so stoked about the morning time, either, but it’s just a sleep issue for me. I’m thinking we might hang out together after the jam, too, right?

Stellar — Maybe things will work out, and you can make it after all. Good things happen unexpectedly, too! I hope so! =)

Anngiern — That would be so cool if you did one in Houston. I’m down in that area about once a month. Where is your studio?

Well so far so good. I’m still going to the Jan. Pole jam. I was worried about money cause my best friend is getting married Jan the 30th so I was gonna have to save money for the jam and for my outfit and gift for the wedding but turns out I am going to be getting my 300 dollar cash back card JUST IN TIME to be able to buy my outifit from head to toe SO THAT MEANS I can save all my money for the JAM!!! YAY!!!!! I would love to hand after the Jam….WHO’S WITH ME?!?!?! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif

HI! It’ Clarissa from Zensual Dance in Dallas who offered the space for the Pole Jam on Sunday, Dec. 20th from 2-5pm. I’m sorry I’ve slacked in getting back on Studio Veena. Work has been crazy-busy. In a good way!

    Here are the details:
    Price: $10
(please bring your own bottled water, food, ect. The area of Dallas known as Deep Ellum is 1/4 of a mile away with tons of restaurants. You can bring food to the studio, too.)
    Date: Sunday, December 20th
    Time: 2-5pm
    Location:
    Chi Dallas
    807 Fletcher Street
    Dallas TX 75223
contact #: 203-936-7825 Clarissa or Dani
There is parking adjacent to the building, a lobby with couches and a full kitchen, if you need it. there are 5 poles available with space for 3 more. (we are expanding but not at this location) If it was like the jams prior, we are a few to a pole and doing some major spotting.

I’m SO EXCITED to be participating in another pole ja!! If you can make it, great!!! Everyone is welcome. Totally relaxed environment. There is a slight possibility I may have to go out of town. If this is the case, the studio will still be open and Dani will be there to host. Hopefully, I am able to make it to the Jan. pole jam to meet everyone who is a for sure for January.

    whoo Hoo!!

OMG. I realized I haven’t created a real profile on SV, which I’ll do on a good day off.

I have a question. I have been seriously considering trying to start a studio in Amarillo. As far as I know, Dallas is the closest one to me. Are there any studio’s here in Texas that offer instructor certification? If I’m going to do it, I want to do it right.

i’ve looked at the uspdf.com website to find a studio that’s affiliated with them and there is not ONE! i’m not saying that there isn’t one, but i don’t think so. but that gives us texans a something to do, huh?
