Thanks to All of You. Yes, All.
I have just begun studies for my group ex cert, and I am learning a lot. One of the points in my early studies is that without a social network of support, one has little to no chance of accomplishing their goals. I sat and thought for a moment. My husband and kids support my pole pursuits and goals, but who else? I could think of no one… until I thought of you gals on SV. I was moved, then and there. I really don’t know where I would be without these lessons, and all of you.
Who else would shout out encouragement to me when I post videos of plump, short lil me just happily dancing around the pole and doing mere back bend slides and sits? No one. Who else would cheer me on when I talk about frustrations and coming down on myself? I can think of no one else! It hit me like a ton of bricks that my pole journey would be severely lacking in thousands of ways if it were not for all of you. I am sincerely grateful for every one of you who has ever spoken to me on here, and will in the future.
