The Great Midwest Pole Dance Competition & Convention
I wanted to update everyone on the Midwest Competition and Convention!
We now have scheduled the following pros to join us to teach workshops and some will be judges:

FawniaWe'll have a vendor fair, daytime shows and 3 days of workshops! Check the event listing or our website at http://www.MidwestPoleDancing.com for more information.
In addition to our national masters (40 and over division) and regional pro and elite divisions, we are adding a national pro division this year!!!
Round one via online video submission will be due June 1st!

That's great Nymph…we have a lot of people responding on our Facebook page which has been up for a while now but we just made the announcement with XPole last week.
If your recall the room we used last year – that will now be broken out into at least 4 workshop rooms and we are adding the exhibit hall next door which is twice the size of last year's room. That is where the vendors, shows and competitions will be held.
Tickets will go on sale July 1st.
I should also mention that the Florida Pole Fitness Championships collaborated with us to develope their rules and guidelines! We are not partnering with them but I wanted to let everyone know that we fully support that competition and are proud of the way both are organized!

that is wonderful! I'm so excited and I loved the way it was set up last year that the vendors (or Merch bitches) could still see the compitiion while keeping an eye on the tables.

last year I had a blast being a competitor I'm gonna try out this year too and definitely get a room at the convention center so I don't miss out on all the shenanigans 😉 Looking forward to it!!!

I'll cheer you on glitter 🙂 I'm not trying out, and I think we will stay there this year too last year we had free rooms at a hotel not too far away.

I think I am going to block all talk about this. Between our 10 year anniversary earlier that month and my mom's 80th birthday travelling to Chicago is just not an option.

I don't know if I'll be able to go this year. 🙁 Going forward with the great energy and momentum of 2011's competition, I am positive that this will be a fantastc event! I will be so sad to miss it if I can't attend.
