I need to get some more pictures up. I think I have made some progress but I am not sure unless I can compare.

K…took new pics on Monday. I was not as warm as I would have liked to have been but in looking at progress I am pretty psyched!!

very interesting thread, and great results ladies!
My front to back splits (like what chem was doing) are pretty good. If warmed up usually I can get all the way to the floor unless my right hip is acting up. Cold I can get within a few inches of the floor. My middle splits….who am I kidding WHAT middle splits, the don’t exhist. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_rolleyes.gif the backs of my legs are so tight (I’m assuming from years of riding and wearing heels.
I need to make this a new goal of mine. and work on it with the girls since they are doing cheerleading classes now.

Talk to the trainer you have been working with. After each and every session working out STRETCH. -

I just started taking 2 classes a week at the pole studio I go to. And they only focus on doing stretches for splits. Already seeing progress after 3 weeks https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif Now I just need to take a photo of how much I can do now, start stretching everyday at home and be able to do splits! i can do one side more than the other, lol! i can go all the way down with my right leg out in front & only like 3/4 of the way dow with my left leg out front. my center split ( or whatever that one with both legs out) is really sad! lol! i get like 1/2 way down & tip over because i feel like my legs will pop off if i go any lower https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_lol.gif

I am so far off being able to do the splits.
Like i have a mile to go LOL
I think, next time i practice ill take some photos to motivate me.

Great job girls! I’m getting SOOO close, but I have to be really warm. For those of you who already have them down, how long did it take you for that last little bit? and how much longer did it take to get to the point where you could just slide right down? right now mine are so unreliable, only close if I’ve danced and stretched. i get wait to have them so i can incorporate them into a dance!

I have been practicing splits for so long,i can do a middle when im warmed up but my side 1s are so temprementle,i can do them 1 day then i cant for several weeks,whats that all about, soooo annoying,im doing them most days now,il post some pics when i get ok splits x
