  Tippy Lyra

  I got to work on a tippy lyra tonight at my trapeze class. I found it to be an entirely different animal…like a gyroscope. I was a bit intimidated by the thing–afraid that I was going to inadvertently flip it and fling myself into the ground. I had never seen one before so I’m posting a picture of one for anyone else who might not have seen one. I’m anxious to go back and give it another try.

  Thanks for sharing, have not seen tippy lyra before! Can’t imagine, must be very tippy! Share more of your experience, how is the technique different from a normal lyra!
