    Hello!
I’m getting ready to buy a pole but I am not sure which finish to go with. I took lessons and I’m pretty sure my teacher used platinum stages which are stainless. My hands were constantly slipping and sliding down the pole. I couldn’t stay up long enough to complete a spin. I love spins but as I get more advanced I heard that the titanium gold x-poles are better for grip and climbing. Can you still spin on those? Ive used mighty grip and it wears off after a couple minutes. Also which poles are sturdiest? PS X or Lil mynx? Is there a difference between gripability in chrome and stainless? I want to order this thing asap but the more research I do the more confused I get! Help!

    Try the chrome x-pole.

Stainless is the least grippy and there is a BIG difference between the 2. I think you will be pleased witha chrome pole.

In the beginning you sweat a lot out of fear and anxiety over the moves as time goes by you should stop sweating so much. Try an anti perspirant a few hours before class on your hands – tite grip is what I use.

have you checked out the X-poles on http://www.houseofpole.net?

Thanks a lot https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif I think I will go with the chrome x-pole! I was going to order it directly from x-pole for warranty reasons. Do i still get that from house of pole? I see they have half off shipping

I have the gold titanium. I have heard complaints that xpole’s chrome that the finish begins to peel off. The gold titanium xpole turns colors. My x-pole is extremely sturdy plus it is portable and causes no damage. It is great compared to a lil mynx that screws into a ceiling or platinum stages where you can not change the pole size if you move. Those are just my general opinions. I think my gold titanium is sexay!

I have a titanium gold x pole and LOVE LOVE LOVE it. I learn on brass at my studio, and owned a stainless steel lil mynx for some time. I finally got sick of the stainless and upgraded to a Titanium Gold and it was the best decision ever.
I always stick, but don’t have problems with spins. I don’t know if spins are easy for me on the TG because I learn on brass at the studio so I’m used to the grippiness. I definately get calluses when I spin on the TG, but I still love it.
I ordered my TG from house of pole on a tuesday night and it was at my door friday morning. House of pole is a distributor of xpole, so your pole comes directly from xpole themselves.

I have never had a problem with spins on it or any pole for that matter. I actually wipe down the pole alot from my sweating. I think pole stickiness is different to each individual. After time u will be able to compensate for the slippage with a better grip or grip aids https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif. I hope that helps!

So how is the chrome working for you. I started on lil myx stainless steel over 2 years ago and just got an xpert titanium gold. I think I went from one extreme to the other. I’m wondering how yours is working for you? https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_flower.gif
