Today is the Day
Ok so after several pole fiascos and a hole in my cieling I’m going to put up the dough and get a "real" pole today. But I have a dilemma. I live in an apartment with metal beams and can not install anything into the cieling.
I am either going to get an x-pole or buy one from the studio I go to.
My only concern with the x-pole is I haven’t ever seen one in real life and I need to be sure it won’t cause any structural damage or require any type of mounting or holes in the cieling.
I’ve rented the poles they sell at the studio and it worked out great. They’re tension based brass static poles and they are easily removed and put up. I loved the I rented and have no complaints about it. The only reason I would get an xpole over this one is the spinny feature of the x. I’m a beginner and have no intention of using spin now but maybe in the future….
So my question is. Is the xpole hard to install (I read somewhere it was) and will it leave any damage or marks and does it require mounting. Also how long does delivery take if I ordered it from SV?

Are the metal beams exposed, and how wide are they if they are? You said you used a removable pole before, and it worked fine with the beams? Do you know what brand it was?
There is no screws to attach the X pole, it works the same as the one you rented, tension. So if you were happy with that then you’ll love the X pole too. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cheers.gif If you like brass I would go with the TG X pole. I don’t think its hard to put up, but that’s just my opinion. I had to take mine down and put it back up a lot in my old home, by myself…we were selling the house. As for shipping time, it really depends, if the pole you order is in stock, and you don’t order on a week end, it can be a few days. It really depends on time of odder and supply. The metal beams aren’t exposed. I only found out that they were metal because my husband tried to drill a hole into the cieling for the Flirty Girl pole and found that he couldn’t because there was metal instead of wood. I haven’t used the tension based pole in this apartment, it was in my previous house. But it worked fine there.
I think I’m going to go with the X pole.
Does it sound like it would work?

Oh and the one I rented before was also from the studio I go to. If I bought one there it would be the same kind of pole. They’re made by that studio. Xpose Fitness.

Sound like an X pole would work great then https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cheers.gif On size isn’t better than another. My 45 is easier on my wrist, but 50 is the standard size in the US right now. If you like what you use in the studio then go with that size…changes are they have 50mm (2in) poles. If you want to try something new then get the 45. Keep in mind that is its no problem to switch from larger to smaller but really frustrating to go from small to larger diameter. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_flower.gif

xpole is the way to go and I don[‘t think you’ll be unhappy with it.
We took our xpoles (2) down last weekend for a film shoot and the entire, up and down took maybe 15 minutes max per pole. -

I’m sure I’ll love it Rouge. Every here seems to enjoy theirs which is part of the reason why I chose that one.

I finally got my x-pole!
I missed the fed ex folks because I was at work so I had to drive almost 40 minutes to the fed ex place…wait 20 minutes for them to get it….then drive back. But I’m so excited!!!!
Time for assembly!!!!!
