So I'm drooooooling over a pair of Tony Shoes ankle boots–Tammy in LEOPARD!!! Soooooo hot! I've never bought Tonys before so I'm not sure how they run. I'm an 8-8.5 US with wide (D width) feet. I was wondering if any of you ladies out there have bought Tony shoes and how they were fit-wise. Please advise! Keyboard will be soaked soon, lol!

Tony shoes are SOOO hot! I've tried on a couple of pairs and I own one. Sadly I find that they fit very poorly. The heel of the shoe is usually too long and the shoe too narrow. I have a few friends that have the same problem. Given the option I would recommend you go down about a half size. For the to work for me at all I had to put an extra hole in the ankle strap,

As a rule pleasers fit me much better. If the fit were better on Tony shoes I would own way more of them. Let me know how it works out!

Grrrr, I can't deal with a too narrow shoe! I just talked to someone else with Tonys who loves them, but she's got long, narrow feet! *sigh* Thanks for the heads up, Gin Blanc. I'll have to stick to Pleasers and Ellies. I'm going to have to pass…dammit…they're so HOT!!!

agreed. I have narrow feet so I bought a pair of tony shoes.  I like that they are narrow (I can't buy pleasers or ellie strappy heels because they are too wide and my feet scoot out the front) but the shoes also had absolutely NO traction whatsoever on the sole. I thought it wouldnt be a big deal to buy the traction stickers that you see at most department stores in the shoe sections, but I was never able to get them to stay on the shoe, in addition to the shoe sole marking up the floor with lots of black marks. Booooo.
