OK so before I had a problem with not being able to stick and sliding alot. Now I’ve mastered some moves and my hands stick too much. When doing the wrist seat I just sit there I can’t get myself to slide down because my hand sticks. I literally have to release my hand to get down! Some spins I’ve noticed as well that I can’t keeping turning as my hands stick! Does anyone have this problem or is it just me? I’ve looked at my pole and clean it often and there is no build up.

Oh, how I wish I had your problem! My problem is too much slippage. Even after a year of pole dancing, I can’t get thru a song without wiping the pole down! But, I can’t "slide" down from a wrist seat either, I usually just go into a pole sit and then into aerial stuff from there. What type of a pole do you have? Do you use lotion on your hands or something like that? Sorry I can’t help you more.

Thanks anyways for responding. I have a LIl Mynx stainless steel pole. I don’t use lotion when I am gonna use my pole. Maybe I should to help me slip https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif

I wouldn’t use lotion. Can be bad for the pole and it could be dangerous if it’s too slippery. It’s kinda a motto not to use any lotions or oils and such when you pole.

How long have you do your pole? Stainless is the worst with grip when it’s brand new and gets grippier the more you use it. Have you had it for a long time and it’s just getting too grippy now??? https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_scratch.gif

I have had my pole for pnly about 2 months. I have no idea why it is so "grippy" now! My skin just sticks too good. It hurts or annoying because I can’t get down graceful since I am stuck!
