Hey, after trying a couple things out I figured I should be learning them on the floor first. Problem: The adjuster and big screw and all that are at the bottom of the pole.. so I can’t really get up to it without already having to lift myself up quite a bit and I’ve bumped my foot on it. Hurts like a beast. So my question is, can I just put that part at the top? If so, how would I go about doing that? Do I just flip the whole xpole? Plates and all? I’m going to be doing this tomorrow so no rush, I’m not willing to just do it and end up breaking something… https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_confused.gif

I just remembered they give you that black foam thingy to cover it. That’s cool but still curious about flipping the pole anyway.

XPoles are not suppose to be flipped. The pole is designed to bear the weight downward on the pole – in the way it was made with the adjuster rod at the bottom. It is not only unsafe but it is no longer under any warranty if there is a problem with it.

I have an old style X-pole that I got a bottom adjusting upgrade for. On this pole there is a metal cover that screws on over the adjuster that covers it and allows you to grab down low. I don’t know what the new style looks like, but maybe there is something like that? You can always e-mail or call X-Pole with any questions as well. They have awesome customer service.
