Totally Addicted
My first experience with pole dance was spring 2012. I came across a "vertical fitness" studio in my tiny and very straight laced town. I wondered what vertical was so I googled the studio. Pole! I had to try it. I got my best friend to come up and try out the intro class. I was hooked. However, life got in the way and it wasn't until a year later that I went back. This August I took the level 1 class and loved every minute of it. The studio owner gave me the go ahead to advance to the level 2-3 class where I am currently. I've only been taking classes for a couple of months but I can't believe how much stronger I am now than I was in August.
The biggest surprise for me was that finally I found something that "fit". I've taken yoga (friend is an instructor and I really tried to get into it), several types of dance, Zumba, etc but nothing ever stuck. I enjoyed those things but I wasn't excited about them. Pole excites me!
I am currently remodeling my master bedroom and have plenty of room for a pole. I am super excited to get my own pole because once a week at the studio is no nearly enough. I'm happy I found StudioVeena.com. The community here seems awesome and very inspiring!
