Okay fellow Polers in Crime,, well maybe not in crime but you get my drift.

I have been going out of my mind insane the past few months and I really need to refocus and get back into my natural relm of my obsession to Pole. How do you all refocus and reenergize?

Also what are some things that you do to become more flexabile to do some advanced moves or even beginner moves to be a little more graceful?

I was in the same boat as u for quite a long time. Decided to step away from pole and start running. Ran over three miles today, and started back on my pole reinsured after more than two months. I am back stronger! See my “take that pole” video. I’m sure u will see some comparriosn to the way you feel at this point. 🙂

I really like variety. If I do the same thing every day… I will get bored and stop. So I group my pole sessions into buckets of strength, flexibility, floorwork, sexy transition. I do strength 2-3 times a week and that is the climbing, push up, inverts, pole holds and cursing part of my week. I do flexiblity about 4 times a week and I love it, it is my relaxation time. I do floorwork once or twice a week… and sexy transition (walks, spins, transition moves, attitude) I work on during other workouts or just for fun.

To stay inspired i like to YouTube my favorite videos and watch in awe. 😀 I have personally found practice is critical for me to improve. I also video things I am working on so I can see where my form needs to improve.

I hope you find something that continues to 'light your pole fire'. 🙂
