Well, it finally arrived! But as I’m installing the pieces today, I realized that the extention (125mm…or even the other one which is not needed) will not fit with the base. The threads are off. The bottom pole fits fine, then the extention in the middle, but the instructions say DO NOT put them between the main poles. Has anyone had this issue? and can I still install it this way? I tried to play the DVD but it says it’s copywrite protected https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_question.gif idk I just wanna pole lol Please help if you can, and many thanks in advance!

Thanks, that’s the tutorial I’ve been using to put it together but the issue I have is with the extention not fitting with the base piece correctly so I’m installing it inbetween the two main rods.

I don’t know too much about poles; I’m just a beginner. But if I had to guess I’d say something is wrong with your base. I would contact X Pole so they can send you a replacement so you’ll end up having what you paid for.

As for installing an extension between the A and B sections, I have no idea why it would or wouldn’t work. Again, if you contact X Pole they can probably tell you why that sort of thing is or isn’t a good idea.

I hope you get it sorted out soon! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif

What size X-pole are you setting up 45mm or 50mm. If its a 45mm there is a decreasing adapter that sometimes gets attached to one of the larger poles this should come off and be attached directly to the base, then you can attache the extensions properly.

If the extensions will fit in the middle of the pole they should fit properly at the bottom of the pole.

Thank you! That’s exactly it! I guess I read through the instructions too fast. Is there any certain way to detatch it, or does it just require hulk strength lol

If the pole has never been fully setup before it should come loose with the release rods that come with the pole (the two little bars in the black tool pouch).
