Turbofire vs Insanity workout
Posted by Jojodanza on April 3, 2012 at 10:20 pmHas anyone tried this workout? i've tried P90x but its kinda boring (no dancing), long and i feel like its more for those who want to tone up. And Zumba isnt my cup of tea. So im pretty much torn between TurboFire and Insanity.
Anything suggestions?
Thanks!

I already have Insanity and am in week 2. I've completed the whole program before and lost 25 pounds. So I'm doing it again. Although Insanity doesn't have any dancing I would reccomend it. It's challenging but rewarding when you finish it. I was sooo much stronger. I haven't tried TurboFire, but I want to it looks fun! Hope this helps.

I have been looking at Turbofire just because I really enjoy my Turbo Jam videos.
This is an example of Turbofire: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lCPJsyVOLqE

I have P90X2 and do not find it boring at all, I’m not sure what P90X is like though, I also have insanity and I dont really enjoy that ! I guess we have a different opinion! 🙂

I have TurboFire and am not pleased ~ Half of the DVD's won't even play 🙁 I really like TurboKick! It has some dance elements to it without being overly dancey. Sincel I am a group fitness instructor, I always suggest going to a "live" class. DVD's are great if there aren't any studios in your area, but it can be hard to stay motivated working out alone. I also like the PINK Method DVD's ~ There is no complicated choreography which makes it easy to follow. The only thing I don't like is the way the camera jumps around and swithches views constantly ~ It kinda makes me dizzy!

yeah i do p90x and rather enhoy it. i guess mostly because they have you doing something else every day, there is yoga involved which i love. and i think insanity is just like 9p90x maybe minus the weights, but correct me if im wrong. maybe you should try Hip Hop Abs (;
