AHHHHHHH!!!! That is so FREAKIN’ AWESOME!!!! I am very happy for everyone who had the opportunity to compete, but my two favorites Karol and Alethea?! (as if there was any question, right?) OMG CONGRATULATIONS TO YOU BOTH!!! You totally deserve your titles as best in the US!

Ha Ha I stayed up til’ midnight hoping for some results last night, and saw Alethea’s post on Facebook about winning but didn’t know about Karol…that is so great , I can’t wait to see some vids!!! I wonder how Sarah C. did? I also always loved her…(pole crush…)actually hoping for some Veeners to blog about the whole thing (hint hint)

So I spoke with Sarah C. after the comp and she informed me that she is now engaged to her bf and has been living with him out in CA for a while now. She told me that she was happy that she didnt win, and said that she is retiring from pole dancing and wants to be a motocross/dirtbike rider. She told me she did not choreograph anything, and I was actually kind of disappointed with her performance. She did not seem into it at all, just walked back and forth between poles, and I kept waiting for a new, big trick that we have not seen her do….but it never happened. She did her usual, yet AMAZING tricks as before, but I could tell she just was not connected with the dance or had any passion in her movements or enjoyment in her facial expressions. I am sad to hear that she will be retiring from pole, but I hope that one day she will come back… https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cry.gif it was still awesome to see her perform on stage again, but she looked SO different with bleach blonde, curly hair…..

Congrats the Alethea, Karol, and Estee! Wish I could’ve been there to watch everyone perform! I’m sure everyone did an amazing job! I too was wondering about Sarah Cretul- thanks gatorgirl for the update! I’m happy to hear she is moving on with her life and going in the direction of something she likes. Hopefully she will come back some day to pole, you never know. Sad to hear she’s leaving but sometimes we just have to do what we feel in our hearts is right for us. Did Estee do some new moves to get miss trixter title? I herd something about Alethea had handcuffs what did she do with them in the performance? I WISH there was some videos!

I would love to hear some scoop, too! So, apparently, the camera police were a little lax this year at the competition but it sounds like footage may not end up on youtube – I am dying to see these performances. Where are they?
