Unsuccessful Shoulder Mount
I feel as though I'm ready to start the shoulder mount, and I've tried with several different holds (one where the arm wraps around and up the pole, another where both are bent and cupped, as well as others people have shown me). The one where my mounted side's arm is wrapped in front around the pole seems to feel the best, but I'm not sure where to go next. I feel like I got that "sweet spot" on my shoulder, and I've tried kicking up for a good month or two now off an on. Does anyone have another tip for getting farther? My legs are only going as high as my head, and I can't seem to get them to go farther. Thank you!
