    Hey Nation,

I just had a quick question. What program do you guys use to record your videos? Those of you that use your computers. I want to keep a video journal but the only thing I have is my webcam and it isnt very good. Very choppy and blurry. Just curious what everyone else is using to see if maybe I can find something that works better for me.

For editting:  Windows Movie Maker is fine.

    For recording:

With the webcam the problem with blurry and choppy might not be in the software, but the webcam or computer.  The cam needs to be focused or have good auto focusing for not blurry.  For the choppy, make sure your not using your computer for anything else so it only has to think about recording.  Also if you can turn down the resolution settings on the webcam.  The video will be smaller, but should be less choppy.

I use my Canon Powershot SD780IS, its got HD video and works great.  If you have a newer camera it probably has a video mode you could try.

Hi https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_geek.gif  I use a kodak digital camera to record, then windows live photo gallery (to import), and windows movie maker 2.6 (an older version that has more features).  from what i have heard, even a cheap digital camera will give you better quality than most webcams.  good luck!! 🙂
