I highly recommend these to anyone trying to get more flexibility! They are amazing! I feel like I will progress fast with doing the dvd once a week like suggested. So if you were waiting on a review of these before you got them, here it is. Don't wait. It will help you with splits and back flexibility!

That's good to know. I had heard it was too "advanced" for most people..but you like it.  Totally attainable?  I am about 4" off in my side splits and feels like a foot in my middle but more like 6-8"…good to know, thanks!

Hmm!  Thank you for the review.  I really like how active they are in the community so I wanted to get these.. but either way, I still can't work hardcore on my flexibility so I might as well wait! 🙂

I did not find them to be to advanced at all!!!!!! I would try them. In the beginning of the dvd, it goes straight into a very fast pase warm up. We were not sure if we were supposed to be watching or following. You definatly are to follow, so wehn you put it in, make room and be ready to move! LOL!

I have seen them…yes, I think they are for advanced stretchers. Not the best fit for someone who is not familiar with stretching and proper technique. They are very bendy that is for sure https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_flower.gif

I've been on and off considering them. I think if I have a video telling me how to stretch, I may just do it more often LOL. Thanks for the review! 🙂

I had the beginner/intermediate DVDs for 3 weeks now. It's a package with 3 DVDs, one for front split and the spine, one for side split and the joints and another one that's called "general anti-stress". You can do every DVD once a week.

These programs are not only for advanced stretchers. There are easier variations for all stretches presented and they are really easy to follow along. I've been doing the programs regularly and I've already seen great improvement in my splits (Okay, I'm not that close to the ground yet, so it's still kinda easy to make progress https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif )

They also offer an advanced series of DVDs, maybe these are the ones that are too advanced for beginners? It's about oversplits and stuff like that …

I had done some stretch exercises before in a Stretch and Flex class, and when I got the Valentino bros dvd I found it to be well within my reach.  Sure, I am nowhere near as bendy as they are and cannot hope at this time to replicate the way they look when they stretch, but I can still do the exercises and they are a tremendous help in my bendy quest.

I'm seriously thinking about investing in some of their DVDs; those guys are just sooo damn bendy! Makes me jealous. I do have two of their e-books, which I really like; I assume the DVDs are similar to those. The e-books have easier variations for every stretch in them, so if the DVDs are set up the same, they should be fine for beginners. For each stretch they generally show you an A B and C pose–C is where you eventually want to end up, but if you're not flexible enough, then you do the B pose or even the A if you're really rigid in a certain pose. They're all yoga poses, if I remember correctly, and the warm-up is a sun salutation. They're very simply laid-oud and easy to follow, as well as being very decently priced.

Crystal, You may want to check out the lessons here! I have many individual lessons that break down proper body placement giving you the most out of your stretching. I also have 3 twenty minute, routines for flexibility. 2 for spits and one for back mobility.
