I want to share something I found to be extremely touching with everyone here. First a little about myself; I will be 50 in November and just recently moved back to my home in Greenville, SC. I came back because I had a 4 year relationship fall apart. I also walked away from my job I was unhappy with, that I spent the last 10 years at. (and they say men have midlife crisis) During the last 3 years I leased my beautiful home out, to be with this man. I came back to $4,000 in damages to just my pool alone and other things as well. My best buddy, my little Chihuahua Twinkie, started going blind very quickly, my daughter moved to Texas with my 1st grand daughter and my son and I were estranged at the time. Did I mention I’m going through menopause too (hot flashes, night sweats and weight gain woo hoo)I came home broken hearted on so many levels, that I’m not sure you could actually make this much stuff up. I can say I feel a little depressed right now. I haven’t been on my pole much and really need to get my butt up and going, it’s just very hard at times. The reason I’m sharing all of this is because when you go through tough times and it feels like you have nobody to turn to, you will find who your true friends are, even the ones you didn’t realize gave you a second thought. I cannot begin to tell you what impact one person can make in your life. I have no clue how many people are on Studio Veena, but I do know they stretch from here to Denmark and all around the world. I got on here last week and got a private message from guess who? Veena! The message asked where did I go that she hasn’t seen me for awhile and if I was okay. Who does that? How did she even notice I was gone and actually took the time out to check on me? That was the absolute highlight of my day! Finding this sight and the amazement of all the details she puts into this was really impressive. but to actually to personally check on the peeps on here is way past impressive. I feel very blessed I found this sight and honored that someone that has so much going on between their actual life and is that connected with us here! Thank you Veena, You are truly an amazing woman. You truly made my day!!

Oh Pam, you are too kind! I wish I could give you a big hug! We do have thousands and thousands of users, however, I do notice when someone who is a regular contributor to the site is not around. Usually I try not to stick my nose in anyones business, but every now and then, someone pops into my mind and I feel the need to contact them.
I hope you know you’ll always have family here to support you if you ever need to talk, even if it has nothing to do with pole. This is the heart and success of SV, it’s not about selling something, for me it’s always been a way to connect with others who share a common love of Pole!
Chihuahua’s are the best BTW, we have 2 now 🙂
